- The CaliX calisthenics park in Hamburg-Steilshoop (Bossardstraße, directly next to the Dschungelplatz playground with its landmark climbing giraffe) was opened on 9 October 2020 with athletes travelling in from Hamburg, Bremen, Rotenburg/Wuemme and even Ukraine. Its main initiator was Norbert Griebe, who had first put the idea forward four years earlier and finally realised it together with the city of Hamburg; the Deutscher Calisthenics und Streetlifting Verband called it the fifth calisthenics park in the Hamburg area. The project repeatedly foundered on the planning costs, with other schemes treated as more important.
