- The four training points ring the Waldsee in the Hermsdorf part of Reinickendorf, a lake of 2.5 hectares. Formerly called Sandsee and for a time Lessingsee, it was dredged and enlarged, its shore planted with rare trees and given a rowing-boat landing stage when the Hermsdorfer Boden-Aktiengesellschaft laid out the surrounding "Waldseeviertel" between 1908 and 1914.
