- In June 2015 CityNEWS reported that preparations had begun for a 200-square-metre multi-generation Trimm-Parcours in the Innerer Gruenguertel between Vogelsanger and Venloer Strasse, planned and site-managed by Cologne's Sportamt and Amt fuer Landschaftspflege und Gruenflaechen and due for completion in time for the FSB trade fair that October. The Koelner Gruen Stiftung supplied 112,000 euros in donations for it, coming among others from Koelner Sportstaetten GmbH, Koelnmesse and the equipment makers Playparc and Lappset.
