Good to know
- The site is Bezirk Altona's Bewegungsinsel, one of seven outdoor fitness islands built under Hamburg's “Masterplan Active City”, which the Hamburg Senate adopted in 2016 and which placed one island in each of the city's seven Bezirke. A committee paper of the Bezirksversammlung Altona dated 09.12.2021 places the district's Bewegungsinsel “oestlich der Sportanlage Baurstrasse” (east of the Baurstrasse sports grounds), and the city's hamburg.com portal locates it between the Othmarschenpark and the Baurstrasse sports grounds.
