- This training spot sits in the Briesnitzer Park Süd, the part of the historic Volkspark Briesnitz lying south of the Meißner Landstraße; the 16,000-square-metre Volkspark was handed over to the public on 12 May 1929, and the city's own park page shows the Calisthenics-Anlage beside the park's chestnut avenue (photo caption 'Blick zur Allee mit Kastanien an der Calesthenics-Anlage mit Hängematte', summer 2024).
