- According to a 2019 citizen proposal on the Berlin participation platform meinBerlin, the calisthenics ground in the Landschaftspark Johannisthal/Adlershof goes back to an initiative of the Förderverein Landschaftspark Johannisthal/Adlershof. The same proposal described it as consisting of a single multi-function structure on a sand floor, used by recreational athletes, families, university sport groups and freelance trainers. - A second, separate calisthenics installation was opened in the so-called Westfuge of the Landschaftspark Johannisthal/Adlershof on 15 April 2026.
