Good to know
- The spot lies in the public green spaces of the Prinz-Eugen-Park in Oberföhring/Bogenhausen, a former barracks site of which about a third of the 30 hectares is public parkland, with the calisthenics facility in the southern wing's 'Sportterrassen' next to a ball court, a boule field, boulder blocks, a parkour facility and a lawn pitch. The design was planned for the Baureferat (Gartenbau) by terra.nova Landschaftsarchitektur (Munich) with club L94 Landschaftsarchitekten (Cologne); the city council approved project costs of 14.5 million euros in October 2019 and execution from May 2021, and the green spaces were completed in 2023.
