- In a press release of 24 November 2020 the City of Cologne announced a multi-generation movement parcours to be built at the south-eastern edge of the Jahnwiese and the adjoining area towards the neighbouring Adenauerweiher in the Sportpark Müngersdorf. Of the 500,000 euros provided in the city budget for the “Bewegungs-Parcours im Kölner Grün” concept, which the Amt für Landschaftspflege und Grünflächen developed jointly with the municipal Sportamt, around 250,000 euros were earmarked for the Jahnwiese site. - For the parcours between Jahnwiese and Adenauerweiher the city divided its draft into three areas and proposed equipment for each: an area for ambitious athletes with a calisthenics station, parallel bars, a double bench and an obstacle wall; a strength-training area for everyone with arm-pull, push-up and pull-up equipment, hurdles, obstacles, fitness boxes and a trampoline; and an area for coordination, mobilisation and endurance with low balance equipment, a seniors' parcours, cross-trainers, air walkers and upper-body ergometers.
