- The calisthenics park was built during the expansion of the Blockdiek youth sports ground on Mülheimer Straße and was officially opened on 6 June 2023; a bouldering cube and a ground trampoline arrived on the site at the same time. The city calls the calisthenics facility barrier-free in both access and use; OpenStreetMap records it as freely accessible but only partly suitable for wheelchair users and for blind visitors, last checked on 20 July 2024. The senator for social affairs, youth, integration and sport and several supporting groups each paid half of the roughly 150,000 euros spent on the new area, which was planned from 2021 in participation rounds with young people from the neighbourhood.
