Good to know
- The calisthenics facility stands in the Skill & Chill Area, a recreation ground of the town of Blankenhain on the south-eastern edge of the settlement, on the site of a former drying plant. The town completed the first construction phase in 2025 and the second in April 2026; the grounds opened on 20 June 2026. Solar lighting along the paths provides safety and orientation, because in regular operation the site works without an external power connection. In the Thuringian municipal register the town of Blankenhain is entered as the operator, and the facility is noted there as barrier-free. Alongside the calisthenics facility the town names a multi-sports pitch, a pump track, a table-tennis table, a skate facility and a traffic garden for beginner cyclists. (Source: blankenhain.de)
