Good to know
- The large public calisthenics facility on Bielefeld's Kesselbrink square has been open since summer 2019 and goes back to a citizens' petition under § 24 GO NRW: the petition for a calisthenics training park, addressed to Lord Mayor Pit Clausen and backed by 483 online signatories, was filed as council document 3365/2014-2020 and dealt with by the city's Bürgerausschuss on 28 June 2016 under agenda item 4.1. The facility stands on the Kesselbrink, a roughly three-hectare multifunctional city square completely redesigned between 2009 and 2013 from a car park and bus station into a central meeting place.
