Located in the Pankow area of Berlin.
Good to know
- The station lies in the Paule-Park behind the Rathaus-Center Pankow, which extends towards Pestalozzistraße. Formed from former wasteland and garden plots to a design by the landscape architect Azemina Bruch, it was built between 1994 and 2011 and opened in 2005; the name was chosen in a public competition and honours the Pankow painter Paul Schultz-Liebisch (1905-1996). - The Paule-Park has extensive play areas fitted with imaginative figures and equipment, and Andreas Schmid's light installation “Lichtgang”, created in 2006, runs towards Pestalozzistraße past a ball and play court. A roughly 100-year-old yew was moved from the site to the Schönholzer Heide in 1998 to make way for the adjoining Rathaus-Center. (Source: berlin.de)
