- Planning for the outdoor fitness area in the Sportpark Neues Ufer began in autumn 2009 and the individual devices — a butterfly, rowing, twister and stepper machine plus two Trimmfit trainers — were selected in winter 2009/10; the planner was atelier Van Geisten. The fitness facilities were later moved directly to the waterfront to make way for the extension of the Heinrich-von-Stephan-Gemeinschaftsschule and a new playground.
