- These training areas lie in the Fritz-Schloss-Park, the largest green space in the Moabit locality, laid out in the 1950s on the rubble of the former parade ground of the 2nd Guard Uhlan Regiment - piled into two hills - to plans by Wilhelm Alverdes, then head of the Tiergarten parks department, and named after Fritz Schloss, the first district mayor elected after the Second World War. Together with the Poststadion, built between 1926 and 1929, the area forms the SportPark Poststadion, where the Mitte district office lists a street workout park with a calisthenics installation, a five-bar pull-up tower, double and stepped parallel bars and a monkey-bar run, plus fitness equipment on a Trimm-Dich trail in the park itself.
