- The Sporttreff Oberhausen on Meierweg is a multi-purpose sports and community site run by the city of Augsburg; its final construction stage, with a roofed multi-purpose court, a redesigned playground, a calisthenics facility and a sports box, was inaugurated on 19 May 2025. The grounds are freely accessible between 6 a.m. and 10 p.m. From the sports box, equipment such as TRX straps, kettlebells, skipping ropes, medicine balls and resistance bands can be borrowed free of charge. The site was built in stages: the project started in 2019 together with FC Augsburg and DJK Augsburg West, and in 2020 the two artificial-turf pitches built by FC Augsburg opened, which can only be used after booking with the municipal sports and pools office, while the multi-purpose building was handed over to DJK West.
