Good to know
- The facility on the meadow at Schlottfelder Straße in Laurensberg is one of seven calisthenics sites that the city of Aachen and the city sports association planned and built across the whole city from 2022 onwards; they were financed with 500,000 euros from the state programme Moderne Sportstätte 2022 plus the city own contribution. An Aachen sports club has taken on the patronage of each site and runs open courses there for which no club membership is needed; in Laurensberg that is VFJ Laurensberg. The sites are freely accessible, barrier-free and meant for every age. OpenStreetMap records this one as Bewegungsstation Schlottfelderstr. with public access. (Source: aachen.de)
